Jury Verdict for Defendant in Wind Damage Claim to Roof

Ewin Henson and Steven Cookston obtained a jury verdict in favor of the Insurance Company in a trial held in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, August 22 through August 25, 2016.  The claimant sought over $1 million in damages and had made a bad faith claim which was dismissed on Summary Judgment.  The case is JCKP, LLC vs. Berkley Regional Specialty Insurance Company, et al. and is Civil Action No. 2:14CV117-KS-MPP on the Court’s docket.
