Peter L. Corson
Peter L. Corson is a long-standing equity partner with Upshaw, Williams, Biggers & Beckham, LLP, and concentrates his practice in the workers’ compensation defense of employers and their insurance companies and self-insured funds, and he also defends workers’ compensation claims on behalf of the State of Mississippi. He regularly servers as a faculty speaker in workers’ compensation programs. Mr. Corson is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and is admitted before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well. Mr. Corson has extensive motion, trial, and appellate practice. He has successfully tried, arbitrated, mediated and settled numerous cases throughout the state. Mr. Corson was born and raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and received his B.A. from Mansfield University, and then his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Corson is the proud father of two brilliant graduates of the University of Mississippi and his youngest son will graduate from Ole Miss in the coming year. Mr. Corson practices in the Ridgeland office of Upshaw, Williams, Biggers & Beckham, LLP, and resides in Madison, Mississippi.
